R49: Fire Bound

Fire Bound by Christine Feehan

Fire Bound by Christine Feehan

I believe that Feehan has lost the magic of her previous series based in the same place and with cross over characters.  It is that there are those shared features that is highlighting for me that Feehan seems to have replaced the details of the story with increased sex scenes. That’s fine except that it appears to be ruining her ability to create a successful back story for her characters and it worries me that this might be her new writing style.

My copy is an eBook and I won’t be looking for the physical copy for my collection.  It just didn’t have enough attention to detail.  I really hope this isn’t a pattern as Feehan is normally one of my favourite writers.

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
