R42: The Highway

The Highway by C. J. Box

I enjoyed this book, as I always do when it is a C.J Box.  This is the initial one that I have already read the next one for.  It gave the details at the end of those featuring Cody Hoyt and began the series following Cassie Dewell.

Box is extremely good at immediately drawing the reader into the story and then keeping their attention there.  I am rarely able to leave his books unread and consume them swiftly.  Returning for a slower read to fully enjoy his story telling prowess.

An easy keep it and I continue to reap, well really consume all of his writing.

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
