Contrasting Blues

I thought this photo demonstrated contrast.  The blue of the skies, the white topped waves and the darker sand. I love the ray of light coming in from above as well.

The contrasting blues

Of slightly different hues

Cheer me on this day

I see the land, sky and sea

Blend together reliably

For just this moment

Contrast need not be glaring

Loud colours a little too daring

Directing my response

Contrast can be subtle

Like a gentle rustle

Amusing me and you

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

  1. The concepts of cheery blue and subtle contrast invoke the ideas of relativity and enormous beauty in small things. Beyond the Blue is the title of my first novel partly because there is not only great depth within the various shades but also the word itself.
