Dream Job

Daily prompt source

Money for Nothing:  If you’re like most of us, you need to earn money by working for a living. Describe your ultimate job. If you’re in your dream job, tell us all about it — what is it that you love? What fulfills you? If you’re not in your dream job, describe for us what your ultimate job would be.

I believe that the ideas of your ultimate job changes as you do.  As for example, you get older or your interests change or your physical capabilities change.  They can all enable or force a change in what is achievable or desirable.

When I was a nurse, that was my ultimate job but now I believe it would be being a librarian or book seller.  Working with books more than caring for people.  Additionally, my physical health would interfere with my ability to nurse, as might my anxiety and depression.

To be honest, at the moment my ultimate job is the one I can effectively undertake.  Which is not easy as it has to work with my depression/anxiety and my physical conditions.  I am hopeful some of them will become more manageable and I can get a job.

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.
