2016 is the year

Daily prompt source

Thanks, Hindsight:  How is the year shaping up for you so far? Have your predictions come true, or did you have to face a curve ball or two?

2016 is the latest year

One of the same, I fear?

But it could go somewhere

With a future that is clear

You see I’m not going anywhere

I will live my life because I dare

And I will do it with great flair

This I most strongly do declare

There is no need for a distress flare

I will be careful and take all care

To make 2016 the best of any year

In this effort I do without fear

In 2016 I will not be in despair

But I may need someone to cheer

No longer will I wear any veneer

2016 will be one of many a year!!

To continue trying, this I swear

To make 2016 a productive year

To ignite a prospective career

And get my life back into gear

This meme made me laugh and is quite apt:

My goal for 2016 is to accomplish the goals of 2015 which I should have done in 2014 because I made a promise in 2013 and planned in 2012 (WW Connect Service)

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

  1. Hello Samratkel,

Responding to this Daily Prompt with a poem was a creative idea. 🙂

I think that the Daily Prompts are starting to get a bit too personal sometimes, I hope that they will tone it down a bit, because that limits my responses.
