R26: Live to Tell

Live to Kill by Lisa Gardner

Live to Tell: Gardner, Lisa

This is the 4th D.D. Warren novel in the series.  It is definitely stand alone and it is simply fascinating.  Touching on the “woo hoo”, family annihilators and mentally ill children and their treatment it enthralled me from start to finish.

The plot is woven around the lives of Victoria, a mother with a mentally ill child, Danielle who works with mentally ill children and D.D., the detective trying to solve the murder of two families.

This is a library book, so when I find it I will reap it and keep it.  I already collect Lisa Gardner so this one just confirmed my enjoyment of her writing.  If you enjoy a plot with great background details, this one is perfect.

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
