Vaycay in the USA

Day 20 —If you could go on only one more vacation in your lifetime, where would you go and why?

If I could only have one more vacation in my lifetime then I would go to three specific parts of America, for three very different reasons.  I would visit whichever state my friend E lived in and spent some time with him.  We have been online friends for a long time and I would love to meet him.  I would also like to go with him to his home state, Nevada and visit his parents and home that I know so much about.

I would want to spend time in New York.  I have studied it so much that I want to experience it as well.  I would definitely visit any and all the memorials to 9/11.  I will probably be terrified in such a huge and busy city but I would want to see and feel it for myself.  From what I have seen on TV I want time to eat my way through many many marvelous foods, especially pizza.

The third place is Boonsboro which is the home town of Nora Roberts/J D Robb and the places of business that she and her family own and operate.  I would want to go into her bookshop, spent nights in the inn that she remodelled and eat at each of her two sons restaurants.  Finally, working out and then relaxing in the gym and spa.  This is my all time favourite author writing under both names.

There are so many places in the world that I only know through books or television but these three places hold a special part of my heart so they beat out all other places.

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
