Thank you

I am so proud to reach 100
Not in years, but in followers
I used to panic to think that
Someone would read my thoughts

Glimpses into my shadowed soul
Formerly hushed and private words
Rarely acknowledged, let alone said
Now shared with whomever chooses
To honour me by reading them

It is a privilege that a reader does so
Just as it is an honour to read theirs
Sharing our realities as never before
The safety of distance encourages
To flay our skin open to strangers

To hope that they can understand
To impart a kind word in return
To warm a heart once frozen silent
Now using words to breathe new life

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.
