Let’s talk

i

I am feeling rather tired

I can not deny, this is true

But still, no matter what

I want to talk with you

ii

We often oppose one another

Can’t we meet in the middle?

Talk as friends and not as foes

To stop the complicated riddle

iii

We can discuss the weather

Or our hopes and dreams

We are not all that different

Or so, in discussion, it seems

iv

Let me reiterate, be really clear

I want to talk with, not at or to

It is an important distinction

I want to hear your point of view

v

To your own self be true

I believe in that so much

But we can still converse

It won’t destroy you as such

vi

So meet me here in the middle

Now or tomorrow works

Talk and be with me in this time

So we can see what lurks

vii

Beneath the animosity

The hate speech and denial

Lets just talk neutrally

Can we commit to a trial?

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
