Rights And Realities

I have the right to voice my view

But then so does each all of you

That is the reality of democracy

So that there is no hypocrisy

But who speaks and how they ‘show’

Helps their support numbers grow

But are they speaking the complete truth?

Check their words out, be your own sleuth

If you have to die for a cause

Make sure that it is truly yours

Never ever blindly follow anyone

Don’t be the fly in the web they spun

So this is our reality, here and now

Let it take its deserved bow

At least we get to have a say

Even if it doesn’t go our way

Never let our earned freedoms end

Never, to terrorism should we bend

So that is what I want to share

To let you know I really care

That you feel as free as me

To express what is your reality

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.
