Writing

In 2013 and 2014 writing nearly killed me.  My thesis remains the single hardest writing I have ever completed.  I am not sure I will ever be completely happy with what I wrote.  I have come to accept that.

In 2015 writing saved me.  This blog is where I ramble to help me understand my life and experiences or compose soul dredged poetry.  The daily prompt fires my imagination and is just fun.

In 2016 I have a chapter being published in a book I already love.  I have a story on a website coming out.  Writing has become important to me again.

Thank you to all those who read my words and take time to comment and like them.  It feels like I invited you into a piece of my world and it was appreciated by strangers.  We then unite over words, something very special to me.  So thank you, bring on 2016!!!

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
