Did you let “him” in?

Knock, knock
Whose there?
I don’t know
But it should be clear

Knock, knock
Are you friend or foe?
LET ME IN
Not until I know

Knock, knock
Do I know you?
Of course you do
Is that really true?

Knock, knock
Hello ?, it’s rather late
It’s cold out here!!
Not if I don’t know you mate!

Knock, knock
Please go away
GRANT ME ENTRANCE
Not in this unsafe way

Knock, knock
I am really out of sorts
Let me put you at ease
Leave me to my thoughts

Knock, knock
Please just STOP
Then just let me in
So my defences drop?

Knock, knock
I am sorry this is secure
I belong here!
For a woman to procure?

Knock, knock
Trespassers will be shot
What you are on to me!?
That sent you on the trot

Knock, knock
It’s the Police
We have him now
Give your fear release

Author:

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
