Posted in Life's lessons

I have spent my life portraying an image of normality, even at the moments of greatest stress. This blog is my way of shedding the portrayal and just being.  Be that stressed, sad, angry or whatever the prevailing emotion is at the time I am writing.  So anyone reading this and thinking they know me – may be surprised.

I write all my poetry on Poetizer now so there will not be any new poems on this blog.  It is a great app (for android but you can also follow on twitter) so take a look at it.  If you like my poems I am writing under the “by Sam” name.  Not sure how to tag that to make it easier for you to find.  But there is so many other great poems to read so hunting for mine should be a joy as you get to read so many. There are some great poets.

I just thought I would write this to explain the changes on my blog.  Hope to get into some deeper writing soon.

I was 46 years old when I begun this blog, female and married with a house full of cats (7). My past is littered with the impact of events that happened when I was a teen. Two loves of my life have been nursing and studying. I just completed my Master of Arts: Media Studies endorsement. My blog will be about the things I think about, that might be better served being written rather than squirreled away in my mind festering. It is the meanderings of my mind as I seek to define myself and my world.

What do you think?
